Role Summary

An exciting and dynamic role within Opella Warehouse team, this motivated person will be responsible for the Packaging Material release and receipt of production orders among other tasks like label management. 


Main Responsibilities

            

  • TUN label administration (Creating changing an existing label)

  • Label counting (complete post –checks)

  • Bulk batch record review protocol before submitting to QA

  • Setting up production orders in SAP

  • Preparing inner cartons for RFS

  • Production order receipts

  • Label release

  • Navigating MES and performing batch enquiries

  • Control of pre-printed packaging

  • Control of rework/reprocessing process

  • Return to store and completion of work order for manufacturing and components for packaging

  • Sampling and archiving of pre-printed packaging

 Health, Safety and Environment: Cooperate with Management to:

  • Provide and maintain systems of work and working environments that are safe and without risks to health.

  • Provide the information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety of employees.

  • Consult with employees about OHS matters so that they can contribute to decisions affecting their health, safety and welfare.

  • Ensure the health and safety of people visiting or working who are not employees by not exposing them to risk.

  • Comply with corporate and legal health and safety requirements.

  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviours and immediately notify the Manager of any serious incidents; complete and Incident / Injury Report and forward to People & Culture within 24 hours where necessary.

  • Undertake duties in accordance with the current Opella Policies and Procedures.

  • Report non-conformance in accordance with the requirements of the Opella quality system

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience as a warehouse operator

  • Valid forklift license (LF) is essential - with experience in forklift operating.

  • Effective communication skills

  • Ability to work in fast paced team environment

  • Strong coordination skills

  • Accuracy, attention to detail and highly organised

  • Ability to prioritise work in a high-volume environment and use your initiative

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift materials.

  • Experience with SAP (desirable)

  • Qualifications in Warehousing/Logistics advantageous
