Environmental Services Job Overview/Duties:

Housekeeping:

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions in common areas and resident rooms, as assigned: sweep/mop floors, wash/sanitize surfaces, dust, discard trash, clean windows/mirrors

• Deep clean resident rooms after discharges and/or prior to new admissions

• Assist with room changes as needed

• Demonstrate ability to clean and sanitize areas of responsibility consistent with facility policy and procedure.

• Attend all facility and department in-service training.

• Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.

• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.

• Fulfill all other assigned duties by department head or facility Administrator

Laundry Aide:

• Collect, sort, wash and dry soiled laundry, including resident personal laundry.

• Fold, stack, hang and distribute clean linen and resident personal clothing to designated areas

• Label new clothing for residents

• Attend all facility and department in-service training.

• Work in cooperation with all other employees of the facility to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for both residents and staff.

• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.

• Fulfill all other assigned duties by department head or facility Administrator.
