Job Description:
- Employee will have direct supervisory responsibility for those Sales Team members within their regional territory.
- Work with Management team to establish, direct and oversee Regional sales objectives and initiatives.
- Set sales targets and implement Corporate Sales Strategies to achieve set targets.
- Responsible for achieving Regional Sales Budgets established.
- Working with Executive Management team to establish, direct and oversee Regional Marketing budget and budget utilization established by the Corporation.
- Meets regional sales objectives and forecasting requirements by assisting in preparation of annual sales targets, analyzing quarterly achievements relative to budget and recommending corrective actions if necessary.
- Develop Regional strategies with senior management to improve the overall “Customer Experience” including but not limited to Services provided by the company.
- Responsible for the coordination of Territory Sales Representatives, and Distributors within the responsible Region to ensure established targets are achieved and Commercial Strategies are implemented within the guidelines set forth by the Corporation.
- Develop and lead all activities to ensure market coverage of the region of responsibility either by expanding distribution networks and/or adding to Biesse commercial team.
- Lead regional strategic corporate objectives through recruiting, for both commercial and service positions.
- Responsible for training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling of commercial team in assigned regions; communicating job expectations; planning and evaluating performance; Uphold with Sales Wood leadership and HR Manager Corporate policies and procedures.
- Utilize Corporate CRM and partner with the Sales Intelligence team, following corporate guidelines and requirements, to improve sales efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance of their direct sales and distribution team to maximize results.
- Collaborate with Service Management Team to develop, implement and execute a plan to increase Regional Service revenues through efficient utilization of available Service resources.
- Lead and coordinate with Territory Sales Representatives, and Distributors and with Management in customer conflict resolution.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in the Secondary Woodworking Industry, preferably CNC machines.
- Parallel path of industry experience like hardware, wood supplier, tooling, software, etc.
- Ability to travel 75% - both domestic and international as neededKnowledge and understanding of woodworking process and application
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management tools- preferably Salesforce
- Ability to build trust and develop relationships with people from small business owners to leadership of large companies
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with customers, management, and colleagues
