Our Servicing Department is looking to hire a Servicing Specialist. This position is Remote.

ALL REMOTE POSITIONS REQUIRE A DOWNLOAD SPEED OF NO LESS THAN 100 MBPS.

Job Title: Servicing Specialist

Reports To: Servicing Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Servicing

Division: Retail

Salary Range: $50K to $65K

Summary:

Perform a variety of Loan Servicing functions in connection with Residential and Commercial Mortgages including but not limited to providing Customer Service to Borrowers, Lenders, and internal teams, loan maintenance, review of trailing documents, and data validation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outbound departmental calls including accepting telephone payments on a recorded line.
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Notate files based on customer interaction and activity.
• Assist with escalation of customer issues and complaints.
• Monitor monthly automatic payments for accurate processing.
• Review and process payments including preparation and retention of payment transaction details.
• Perform loan maintenance as necessary.
• Organize and create image files.
• Identify and resolve data exceptions for transfer.
• Compile data and generate system imports.
• Arrange bulk mailings to ensure proper Borrower notification including Servicing Transfer notices.
• Maintain record of transaction histories to ensure compliance and adherence to transfer guidelines.
• Uphold relationships with Lenders and Servicers
• Prepare, review, and finalize reports for pipeline management and transfer validation.
• Monitor monthly purchase volume to manage and initiate timely transfers.
• Analyze, verify, and cross-reference trailing documents to address discrepancies promptly.
• Perform duties in accordance with servicing policies and procedures, investor requirements, and state and federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Knowledge of Residential and Commercial loan documentation.
• Extensive PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet).
• Dynamic, self-motivated, with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Strong client service, organizational and time-management skills.
• Detailed oriented, with ability to balance multiple time-sensitive tasks at various levels of completion.
• Accuracy and great follow-up skills are mandatory.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Encompass experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of mortgage loan servicing experience.
• Experience with sub-servicing preferred.
