As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of the branch. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the branch banking team, providing effective leadership and guidance.
- Drive business growth by identifying and acquiring new customers, especially high-value accounts.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Oversee daily branch operations, including cash management, transaction processing, and customer queries.
- Implement and monitor sales and marketing strategies to achieve business targets.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide feedback to team members.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations and ensure adherence to internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inter-departmental coordination.
- Analyze branch performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Represent the branch at external events and build relationships with local businesses and communities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in branch banking, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Excellent customer service orientation and a track record of building customer relationships.
- Proficiency in banking operations, including cash handling, transaction processing, and regulatory compliance.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
- Good knowledge of sales and marketing strategies, preferably in the banking industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Hindi.
- Willingness to relocate to the branch location as required.
