Job Summary: The Receiving Lead oversees all receiving areas of the manufacturing facility and is responsible for ensuring that products are received in a timely manner, inventory accuracy and all employees within the receiving department are trained properly.

- Leads the daily schedule for all production
- Ensures that all employees are properly trained
- Operates forklift equipment safely and efficiently to receive, handle, and store product in accordance with HACCP and GMP standards
- Utilizes the scanning system to create accurate locations and perform accurate inventory transactions
- Utilizes D365 to receive materials and move product between warehouses
- Inspects inbound materials and products for damages, defects, and discrepancies; Promptly reports any issues to Quality and Leadership
- Collaborates daily with Production Departments to ensure all materials are staged and ready to meet production schedule; Monitors production schedule changes and coordinates material changes as needed
- Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of the receiving areas
- Investigates and corrects all inventory discrepancies
- Performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
- Learns and maintains customer standards for product specifications and acceptable quality
- Reads and follows instructions regarding daily expectations, requirements, or specifications
- Reports any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to supervisor
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping receiving areas and workstations neat, cleaning up aisles, picking up leftover pallets, sweeping the floors, keeping exits clear and free from obstruction, all equipment is stored at the end of shift and dock doors are closed
- Follows all safety procedures and actively participates in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives
- Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately
- Supports and complies with GMP’s; understands and follows emergency action plan
- Supports food safety, quality and legality
- Ensures the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements
