Job Description

Clayton County Public Schools Division of Human Resources and Strategic Improvement is hosting a TEACHER HIRING EVENT on Saturday, June 6, 2026, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.


Sourcing all Teacher Vacancies for the 2026 - 2027 School Year.


                          


When:                   Saturday, June 6, 2026


Time:                    10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.


Location:              The Morrow Event Center


                             1180 Southlake Circle


                             Morrow, GA 30260 


 


To expedite candidate entry, you are encouraged to ‘apply’ for this posting, which will serve as your pre-registration for the upcoming hiring event. All unofficial transcripts and current teaching credentials must be included in the registration application. 


 


You will receive a confirmation email once your pre-registration has been completed.


 


**Please note, pre-registration applications which do not contain transcripts and/or certification documents will be considered incomplete. Confirmation emails will only be distributed to candidates with completed pre-registration applications.


 


 


FOR ADMISSION:


Bachelor's degree from a Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) approved college/university. (Unofficial transcripts must be provided on-site to verify all degrees).

Hold a valid teaching certificate.


 


If you do not have a GaPSC teaching certificate, you must complete the following steps with the GaPSC before processing your application. If any of the items listed are missing, your hiring process will be delayed until all documentation is received:



  • Create a GaPSC MyPSC account. Please click here to register for your GaPSC certification account if you do not have an account.

  • Answer the Personal Affirmation Questions in your MyPSC account

  • The following must be uploaded to your TalentEd application:


  • Submit all official college transcripts to [email protected]

  • If a waiver is being requested for you, pay the $20 fee in your MyPSC account

  • Complete the GACE Ethics 360 assessment (there is a $30 fee, and the assessment may be taken at home). Print out the Certificate of Completion and upload it to your TalentEd application (if applicable).

  • Upload proof of registration for any required GACE content assessments (If applicable)

TO QUALIFY FOR A PROVISIONAL CERTIFICATE:



  1. Possess conferred Bachelor's degree or higher

  2. Complete GACE Educator Ethics 360 Assessment

  3. Pass required GACE Content Assessment


*NOTE: If an educator has not passed the content assessment, proof of test registration must be uploaded with the employment application.
