We're hiring a Production Manager to take full responsibility for project execution while helping us scale. This is a growth-track position - ideal for someone who already performs at a high level and is ready to expand their impact over the next 2-3 years.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build, update, and enforce detailed project schedules (daily/weekly lookaheads)
- Coordinate and sequence subcontractors to avoid downtime and trade stacking
- Conduct regular site walks to verify progress, quality, and job site standards
- Manage client relationships through clear, proactive communication
- Review plans and scope to ensure field execution aligns with design intent
- Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or quality
- Oversee material procurement timing to prevent delays
- Maintain accurate project data in construction management software
- Hold trades accountable to timelines, quality, and commitments
- Mentor field staff and support the development of less experienced team members
- Uphold Gill Construction's standards for professionalism, organization, and execution on every job site
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years of residential construction experience, with proven project leadership
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong understanding of residential construction sequencing and best practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and subcontractors
- Experience managing both client relationships and field operations
- Comfortable using construction management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or similar)
- Highly organized with strong documentation and follow-through habits
- Ability to anticipate issues and solve problems proactively
- Leadership style that is accountable, supportive, and team-oriented
