Assist a BGSU History faculty member with instructing classes, and in the process, gain first-hand experience with college-level teaching.

Position Duties
- Meet with professor before the semester to review class goals, teaching strategies, duties and desk copies.
- Be available to attend University teacher training sessions such as sexual harassment and confidentiality.
- Will work approximately 4-5 hrs per week; some weeks may be more hours and some weeks may be less.
- Attend weekly meetings with professor to discuss duties for following week.
- Attend all class sessions.
- Keep track of student attendance.
- Tech support in classroom.
- Making presentations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Rising Junior or Senior History Major, Minor, or with at least 15 credit hours in History.
- GPA of 3.0 or above overall and 3.5 in History classes is preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
