About this opportunity
Join Ericsson as a Customer Project Manager within ANZA Cloud Software & Services, where you will lead the delivery of complex, high-impact customer programs across 5G core networks, cloud-native platforms, and service transformation initiatives. In this role, you will take full ownership of project strategy, governance, and execution, leveraging industry-leading methodologies and tools to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions. You will act as a trusted delivery partner to customers, translating business and network needs into tangible outcomes while ensuring efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence.

 

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of customer projects across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality
  • Develop robust project plans, secure resources, and drive execution to successful completion
  • Own project financials including budgeting, forecasting, margin management, and cost control
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, changes, and interdependencies
  • Lead governance forums, steering committees, and provide clear, data-driven status reporting
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and governance frameworks
  • Support pre-sales and transition activities, including solution alignment and contract inputs
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, innovation, and delivery optimization initiatives
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to evolving project management best practices

 

The skills you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex customer or delivery programs, with 3+ years in telecom or IT environments
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, and resources
  • Solid understanding of networked systems, service delivery models, and operational KPIs
  • Experience working in customer-facing, contractual delivery environments with senior stakeholder exposure
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Practical understanding of automation and AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Glean) and their application in delivery excellence
  • Ability to translate customer business needs into actionable delivery outcomes

Highly desirable:

Exposure to 5G Core network applications and/or cloud infrastructure, including cloud-native architectures, containers, virtualization, and hyperscaler platforms
