Job Overview: 

Develops, applies, revises and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.  Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.  Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.  

Responsibilities: 

At this developing level, the professional applies growing expertise, established policies, and standard procedures to complete assigned work. The role involves independently identifying and resolving routine issues while seeking guidance for more complex or unfamiliar problems. 

Clear and effective communication—both written and verbal—is expected, especially when explaining processes or responding to routine inquiries. The individual is responsible for organizing their own work and adapting to unplanned tasks as they arise. 

This role typically includes responsibility for managing individual components or tasks within larger projects. Progress is monitored against established benchmarks for time, quality, and cost. The P2 level is designed to foster independence and problem-solving skills as the professional continues to build subject matter expertise

Experience Required: 

Individuals at this level typically have 1–2 years of relevant professional experience. They are expected to demonstrate growing functional knowledge, the ability to handle routine tasks independently, and the judgment to seek help on more complex issues. Experience should include contributing to team projects, managing components of assignments, and applying standard practices with increasing confidence. The role is designed to support further development of problem-solving and self-management capabilities.
