Job Description

As a budtender, you will be responsible for advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis. You will also stay updated on new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through both in-house and outside resources.

  • As a budtender at Mango Cannabis, your main responsibility will be to assist customers in selecting the right cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, and budget. You will need to stay updated on the latest industry trends and new products to provide accurate information to customers.

  • Key requirements and responsibilities include:
  • - Processing customer payments accurately using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system and Biotrack software.
  • - Educating customers on the safe use of cannabis products and ensuring proper weighing, packaging, and labeling.
  • - Checking customer identification to verify age requirements.
  • - Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked.

  • In addition, you will be expected to:
  • - Adhere to all regulations set by NM-RLD.
  • - Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • - Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • - Be proactive and self-motivated.
  • - Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to challenges.
  • - Handle cash transactions accurately.
  • - Familiarize yourself with Dutchie, Biotrack, Mango Cannabis, and NM-RLD guidelines.
  • - Maintain a visually appealing showroom and delegate rearrangements as needed.
  • - Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed to company standards.

  • **Please note that cannabis knowledge and experience is required for this position. Must be 21 years of age or older.**
