Accounts Receivable and GST Compliance

Location – Chennai

Role – On contract

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• 2–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable / Employee Reimbursements (ERA)
• Good knowledge of AP processes, reimbursement policies, and approvals
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems (Tally, SAP, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail with good coordination and communication skills

Job Responsibilities

• Verify employee reimbursement claims against approved policies
• Check supporting documents such as bills, receipts, and approvals
• Ensure correct accounting and cost center allocation
• Process reimbursement entries in the accounting/ERP system
• Coordinate with HR and department heads for approvals and clarifications
• Ensure timely reimbursement to employees through bank transfer
• Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes
• Reconcile ERA balances periodically
• Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements (GST, income tax, etc.)
