Job Description

Supply Chain Consultant (Warehouse)

Position Overview:

A Senior Consultant leads projects, provides work direction for the project team and works with clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for value creation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain and warehouse strategies, including process design and operational improvements to achieve client objectives.
  • Assess warehouse and inventory processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead operational reviews, including facility layout, workflows, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity.
  • Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, distribution) to drive performance improvements.
  • Develop practical, data-driven recommendations to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Coordinate project execution by developing project plans, timelines, and facilitating workshops, interviews, and data collection with client stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading discovery sessions and facilitating workshops to align on solutions and priorities.
  • Conduct interviews with client leadership and operational teams to understand business conditions, risks, and controls.
  • Prepare and deliver clear reports, presentations, and insights to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute throughout all phases of consulting engagements.
  • Support the development of methodologies, tools, and best practices in supply chain and operational consulting.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals, client presentations, and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support growth through networking and client engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Industrial Engineering preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or consulting roles.
  • Experience working in medium to large distribution or warehouse operations.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes and operational KPIs (inventory accuracy, throughput, productivity, service levels).
  • Proven experience in consulting, advisory, or client-facing roles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to influence and build trust.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project); experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong drive for continuous improvement and learning.
