Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our weekend team at Eastern Star Home. As a CNA Weekend Warrior, you will provide routine, daily nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This is a unique opportunity to work a weekend schedule with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, transferring, and ambulating

  • Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to Charge Nurses and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and services

  • Engage residents in activities and social programs to promote mental and emotional well-being

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

  • Demonstrate a commitment to building a supportive work environment and maintaining a positive attitude at work

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Current Nursing Assistant certification

  • Ability to perform lifting, bending, and stretching without limitations

  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Expectations:

  • Consistently reports to work on time and ready to work at the start of the shift

  • Always provides proper notification when late or absent

  • Demonstrates ability to recognize priorities in organization of workflow

  • Maintains confidentiality of all resident, facility, and/or physician-related information

  • Reports to work well-groomed and in compliance with dress code
