Due to growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Associate to work out of the Aberdeen, NJ area.

 

The Warehouse Clerk & Non-CDL Driver, who under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, will primarily be responsible for arranging shipments of materials, inspecting, and verifying goods, managing inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies, and operating a forklift.  You will asl complete deliveries on behalf of the warehouse when necessary.  Some weeks will be heavily warehouse focused, others will be heavily driving focused. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and ship orders, receive inbound, inventory put away, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing. 


• Complete deliveries in the tri-state area via fourteen-foot or sixteen-foot box trucks, as required. 


• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. 


• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. 


• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. 


• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe 


• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method. 


• Assist in counting of physical inventory. 


• Weigh and count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. 


• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments. 


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Hazards:

• The Warehouse Associate will work in a warehouse setting.


• The job may involve working at heights or in confined spaces.


• Hazards may include electrical shock, falls, and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  
   

Special Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment up to fifty pounds (50lbs) or more, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.


• The job may require standing for prolonged periods of time and working in awkward position.
