Job Description

The service cashier is responsible for ensuring that all customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently for the service department. This includes receiving payment for services rendered, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Pay: $16 per hour

Hours: Tuesday through Friday 8AM- 5PM, Saturdays 7AM- 5PM

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and process transactions.
  • Accept payment for services rendered by the service department, as well as process down payments for sales department.
  • Maintain an accurate record of transactions and reconcile daily cash and credit card transactions.
  • Submitting invoices for payment to warranty and insurance companies.
  • Process refunds as required.
  • Keeping files organized and maintained daily.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain knowledge of current policies, and procedures
  • Ensure that the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures.
  • Keep customer lounge and coffee area clean and organized
  • Issue keys and license plates out to sales department

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in cash handling and customer service required.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong multitasking skills are a must
  • Prior dealership experience preferred, but not necessary.
