Job Description

Owl Creek Elementary is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Interpreter to provide interpreting services for students with hearing impairments.


 


Minimum qualifications include: valid Hearing Impaired Interpreter's License issued by the Arkansas Department of Health (ADH), high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum score of 3.0 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) OR a QAST 3/3 rating in transliterating/interpreting.


 


Interested applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff.


 


Paid on Lane 31 of the classified salary schedule.  Starting pay is from $21.25/hr to $23.59/hr (depending on experience).


7.5 hours per day


180 days per contract year
