Speech Therapist



Schedule/Status: Full-Time/Part time

Department: Home Health

Service Area: Lewiston/Auburn, ME and surrounding areas

Role: Speech Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist 

Work Setting: In the Community and Homes

What You’ll Do:




  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients of all ages in their homes, according to standards of practice outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, direct therapy, consultation, and family/caregiver instruction to support communication goals.

  • Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare providers to support each patients goals.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans 

  • Document progress, reassess regularly, and update goals to promote meaningful communication outcomes.

  • Promote family involvement and education to reinforce therapy techniques outside of sessions.



 



What You’ll Bring:




  • Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (or CFY in progress)

  • Current Maine Speech-Language Pathologist License

  • Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred

  • Current CPR Certification
