About AM&AA: The Alliance for Mergers and
Acquisitions Advisors (AM&AA) is a leading professional organization
dedicated to serving professionals in the mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
industry. With a mission to provide education, networking, and support to
M&A advisors, AM&AA has established itself as a trusted resource for
professionals across the country for the past 25 years. We are currently
seeking the Head of Brand Strategy and Revenue to lead our branding initiatives,
driving revenue and membership growth.

 

Job Description:

AM&AA is looking for an experienced and
revenue-focused professional to serve as the Head of Brand Strategy and
Revenue. This individual will play a pivotal, hands-on role in shaping the
association's brand identity, developing and executing brand strategies, and
implementing revenue-generating initiatives with particular focus on growing
its national chapters and developing and producing new, targeted events and
conferences for its constituents. The successful candidate will be passionate
about the M&A industry and have a proven track record of driving revenue
growth in a membership-driven organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy and Development:

·         Develop and/or reinforce and maintain a clear
and compelling brand identity for AM&AA.

·         Create and execute brand strategies that align
with the organization's goals and values.

·         Oversee the development of branding materials,
including marketing collateral, social platforms, and digital assets.

Revenue Generation:

·         Develop and execute revenue-generating
strategies that leverage AM&AA's membership base, events, and educational
offerings, increasing attendance and sponsorship revenues.

·         Identify and produce new revenue opportunities
and partnerships including in-person and virtual events.

·         Oversee and execute hands-on marketing and sales
campaigns to promote AM&AA's services and events.

Membership Growth:

·         Collaborate with the membership team to attract
and retain members by showcasing the value of AM&AA.

·         Implement strategies to increase membership
numbers and revenue from membership dues.

Event Management:

·         Work closely with the events team to plan,
market, and execute AM&AA's conferences, seminars, and webinars, ensuring
they contribute to the association's revenue goals and value proposition.

Teamwork

·         Work closely with the company’s core team of
professionals responsible for branding, marketing, and revenue generation.

·         Provide mentorship and guidance to team members,
fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a
related field.

·         Proven experience in brand strategy, marketing,
and revenue generation, preferably within a membership-based association or a
related field.

·         In-depth knowledge of the M&A industry and a
network of contacts with private equity groups, investment bankers, advisors,
and lenders within various industry sectors.

·         Exceptional leadership and team management
skills.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be willing to serve as the face of the brand and take the stage when
needed.

·         Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and
meet financial targets.

·         Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
for marketing and revenue tracking.
