Cascades of Stayton (independent living, assisted living) provides care for residents and their families all over the region including, Kingston, Sublimity, Aumsville, Young and Lyons.
The Resident Care Coordinator supports the Wellness Standards regarding implementation of care plans, training and communication across departments and third parties. The Resident Care Coordinator is the direct supervisor for care associates.
What Cascade Living Group looks for in a Resident Care Coordinator:
Associates degree in a health related field preferred
Experience of 3 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults.
Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting
Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
Must have exceptional organizational skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Experience in training and associates development.
Must have certification as required by State regulations for activities.
Requires current First Aid and CPR certification, per state requirements.
Maintain applicable state requirements of resident care specific training.
Ability to represent the community in a positive and professional manner.
Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
High level of ability in effective and succinct communication, written and oral with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
Must be capable of maintaining fulltime attendance
Must meet all health requirements, including TB screening
Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities (essential job functions), with or without reasonable accommodation
Must pass criminal background check
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
What you can expect to do as a Resident Care Coordinator for Cascades of Stayton:
Is highly visible to the customer and to associates.
Recruit and hire care associates to work in the Wellness Department.
Develop and monitor the scheduling of care associates ensuring weekend and holiday coverage with community needs
Involved in the team recruitment approach for all other positions within the Wellness
$23.00 - $25.00/hour
