Summary

Join our STNA team! We are actively building our STNA talent pipeline for all shifts. Candidates will be placed on our all-shift hiring waiting list, you can expect an initial call to let you know we received your application and answer any questions you may have. We will note what shifts/schedules you are interested in and will remain in touch and if a position becomes available you will be contacted with next steps in our process.

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant at Candlewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our residents. This position is essential for supporting our mission of providing quality service and fostering a family-focused environment. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). In this position you will join a dedicated team who is focused on providing quality care in a family focused environment. 

This position has a starting pay rate of $19.00 - $20.00 an hour

The typical schedule for this opportunity is Five (5) 8-hour shifts a week for all shifts. The standard schedule for this position includes an every other weekend rotation. Specific schedules available will be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques.
  • Support residents' emotional and behavioral health needs through compassionate interaction.
  • Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with mobility and lifting of residents as needed to ensure their safety.

 

Requirements

  • Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant with valid certification in Ohio.
  • Experience in senior care or medical-surgical settings preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.
  • Ability to lift and assist residents safely.
