Description

General Summary of Job Duties Principle Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Silverton Values.
  • Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 35 years old.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
  • Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards
  • Adhere to all Standards of conduct outlined in the Silverton Handbook.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
  • Must have knowledge of most areas in the Slot Technical field. Must have machine knowledge i.e., troubleshooting, game recalls, machine optioning, etc.
  • Responsible for all electronic gaming equipment to be in operational condition according to Company Department Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Must assist Vendors with all repairs being performed.
  • Use care in all activity to provide safety first.
  • Identify and notify any unsafe conditions, areas or equipment that needs to be addressed to your supervisor immediately.
  • Proper use of Slot Department equipment.
  • Responsible for machine and sign moves.
  • Responsible for machine installs and removal
  • Responsible for machine conversions and all optioning.
  • Responsible for all machine repairs
  • Responsible to investigate machines for meter variances and perform repairs as needed.
  • Assumes responsibilities of a Floor Person for jackpot verification, upon Slot Shift Managers request.
  • Provides technical evaluation to Slot Shift Manager or designee during disputes.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Management concerning processes, guests and vendor related issues, problems and/or solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain all communications between player tracking units and EGM’s and player tracking to bank network switches.
  • Must notify Slot Tech III and/or Slot Tech Supervisor when parts levels become low.
  • Make recommendations on new parts to add to stock.
  • Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Arriving on time and ready to work for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Skills, Education & Other Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Slot Tech in a Casino environment.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Basic electronics knowledge.
  • Basic PC Skills, Knowledge of Word, Excel, E-mail etc.
  • Requires all knowledge of Slot Tech level I.
  • Has ability to provide SOP training to Slot Tech I when requested by Management.
  • Must have knowledge in most areas in the Slot Technical field.
  • Required to investigate machines for meter variances and perform repairs as needed.
  • Must have experience with most manufactures platforms types and knowledge of i.e.: operation, machine optioning, hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Must have working knowledge of player tracking system i.e., meters and communications between EGM and player tracking units minimum.
  • Must have basic progressive knowledge to option EGM’s and have troubleshooting skills with this type of equipment minimum.
  • Average soldering skills, ability to troubleshoot at machine level most repairs minimum.
  • Must have basic understanding of Compliance Advisory and Mandatory Upgrades.
  • Understand Machine Manuals and all SOP’s that pertain to job description.
  • Must have full knowledge of Par Sheets for optioning EGM’s.
  • Displays confidence: when explaining machine outcomes and resolving disputes.
  • Must have the ability to perform accurate, thorough and neat work.
  • Heavy lifting required, ability to pick up 50 lbs. Push/Pulling required with assists of equipment such as two- and four-wheel dollies. Requires the ability to use single person machine lifting equipment.
  • Reports directly to the Slot Tech Supervisor and or Tech Level III; when unavailable reports to Slot Technical Manager or Slot Shift Manager.
