Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic primary function is

  • Makes repairs to all machines
  • Uses all types of machine shop machines (Power Presses & Fabricating Equipment)
  • Fabricates and installs safety guards on machines
  • Die set up in power presses
  • Assists with large production jobs
  • Designs and builds a die from a part print or sample part
  • Troubleshoots production tooling/dies and makes necessary repairs
  • Designs and builds machine tools, cutting tools and other tools used for manufacturing
  • Works on prototypes for Engineering Department
  • Form grinding
  • Checks tooling and responsible for supplying measurements to Engineering Department
  • Sets up dies
  • Works with Power Presses

Additional Requirements

  • Math skills
  • Ability to operate material handling and tools required to perform tasks.
  • Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $23.00– $28.25 /hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
