Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across our growing quick-service restaurant (QSR) brands. 

This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll for a multi-state, high-volume workforce — while also leading and developing a strong payroll team.

What You’ll Own 

Payroll Operations 

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across multiple QSR brands 
  • Ensure payroll is accuratetimely, and compliant across all locations 
  • Manage high-volume, multi-state payroll cycles 

 

Leadership & Development 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of payroll specialists 
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to build a strong payroll function 
  • Establish clear processes, expectations, and accountability 

 

Auditing, Reporting & Compliance 

  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance 
  • Review reports, reconciliations, and payroll variances 
  • Ensure proper handling of garnishments, taxes, and deductions 
  • Partner with HR and Finance on audits and reporting 
  • Utilize and optimize payroll systems (ADP Workforce Now / Vantage preferred) 
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy 
  • Support system enhancements and workflow improvements 

 

Cross-Functional Impact 

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations leadership 
  • Support onboarding, compensation changes, and payroll-related processes 
  • Provide insights and reporting to support business decisions 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 5+ years of payroll experience, with leadership experience required 
  • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration 
  • Experience managing multi-state, high-volume payroll, and knowledgeable with multi-state and federal laws 
  • Proven experience in payroll auditing, reporting, and compliance 
  • Experience with ADP/Vantage, or similar systems preferred 
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
