Job Summary:

 

As the Network Support Technician at Plant Therapy, you will be responsible for supporting end users while maintaining an extensive and highly available infrastructure. You will operate in a cohesive yet mixed-skilled technology department with a proven track record of success and constant improvement. Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Support local and remote end users in a mixed Mac and Windows environment.
  • Installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees by provisioning/deprovisioning system access and hardware.
  • Documentation and allocation of IT equipment and inventory.
  • Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Manage user roles and system permissions across platforms, ensuring appropriate access levels, performing periodic access reviews, and enforcing least-privilege standards.
  • Utilizes ticketing and support systems to track work progress.
  • Monitor equipment and respond accordingly to alerts/outages to ensure network security and connectivity.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and troubleshoot issues.

Summary

Required Qualifications:

  • Working experience administering G Suite.
  • Knowledge and experience with LAN and WAN devices.
  • Ability to support and train users on SaaS applications.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and managing security devices and systems.
  • Ability to self-start, multi-task, and succeed under pressure while maintaining great customer service skills.
  • Must be responsible, detail-oriented, dependable, and available to work an extended work schedule as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Single Sign-on (SSO) implementation and management.
  • Unifi network devices and tooling experience.
  • Security foundations, framework knowledge, and tooling usage.
  • Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
