The City of North Miami Beach has an outstanding summer Aquatic Division program for kids! We’re now interviewing
for seasonal, part-time summer positions at two of our dynamic aquatic facilities.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Aquatics Camp Dates: May 14, 2026 - September 6, 2026 (Applicants must be available to work for the full duration of the program)
Hours of Operation
Monday, Wednesday, Friday • 9:00AM - 7:00PM
Tuesday and Thursday • 9:00AM – 8:30PM
Saturday and Sunday • 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Tuesday and Thursday • 9:00AM – 8:30PM
Saturday and Sunday • 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Position Duties
Ideal candidates will:
- Have some experience working with kids
- Appreciate outdoor activities
- Have the ability to maintain composure and problem-solve under stress
- Have a relentlessly positive attitude
- Love to have fun working with kids and making a difference in our community
- Pass rigorous background screening process
Minimum Qualifications
- Lifeguards must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess current certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED for professional rescuer and First Aid (Red Cross Training Only)
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI) - Preferred.
