Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a caregiver for our Adventure Club at Willow Ridge Elementary for the morning shift. This part-time position is ideal for someone who loves working with children and is passionate about fostering a fun and safe environment for exploration and learning. This position is Monday through Friday; 3:40 pm until 5:40 pm. The caregiver will support the Adventure Club's mission to provide engaging activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical activity among students.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during Adventure Club activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and outdoor activities that encourage teamwork and personal growth.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up activity areas before and after sessions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging participation from all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff regarding daily activities and any concerns.
- Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team atmosphere.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience working with children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and some evenings.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies as needed.
- Background check clearance prior to employment.
