Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
To serve on a custodial crew performing routine manual tasks in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearances of the buildings on the LSUE campus.
80%
Performs many varied custodial tasks related to the upkeep of buildings. Work generally includes the task of vacuuming, scrubbing, dusting, bathroom cleaning, disposal of trash, cleaning windows, etc.
Serves on specialized floor maintenance crews where work involves the principal responsibility for stripping, buffing, and waxing floors by using industrial grade machinery.
Performs custodial-related duties required to maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions.

Serves on specialized set-up crew where the principal responsibilities includes setting up tables, chairs, and other furniture for special meetings, banquets, etc.

Assists the Athletic Department (Basketball, Baseball & Women's Softball); with special needs before, during, and after practices, games and special events.
Periodically serves as a fill-in in the absence of the Custodian Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
