The Highland Local School District has an opening for a third grade classroom teacher beginning in the
2026/2027 School Year.
CERTIFICATION: Early Childhood PK � 3 license, Elementary K - 5 license, or equivalent Ohio teaching license.
Reading Endorsement K-12, Praxis 5205, or Masters in Literacy or Reading is also a requirement.
Gifted hours or endorsement is preferred.

SALARY:
The person selected to fill this position will be placed at the appropriate step of the salary schedule
contained in the negotiated agreement between the HEA and the Highland Board of Education.
