Technical Service Representatives are ambassadors of our brand promise and play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. At the core of this role is a passion for providing top-tier service and support - bridging the technical service capabilities and customer needs

Core Responsibilities of Technical Service Representative I

  • Serves as a liaison between customers and Hydro-Gear ensuring support of proper product operations
  • Provide customer service related to product and service information and troubleshoot technical issues to develop resolutions
  • Conducts testing, teardowns and evaluations of field returned products (electric and hydraulic components)
  • Supplying customer feedback to appropriate departments
  • Process warranty claims, maintain and execute warranty reports
  • Leading teams in the field if products are to be updated (as needed)

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school plus 2 years of experience or four years of related experience and training. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.  
  • Experience of electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret documents such as technical procedures, manuals and government regulations
  • Experience in spreadsheet, presentation, word, and reporting software (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Crystal Reports, etc.)
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce, etc.)
  • Ability to speak and present information clearly and effectively to larger groups
