Under general supervision, assist with transportation needs of students including loading and unloading students and supervise students while riding the bus. Attend to any special needs that may occur on the vehicle, including behavior. Administer first aide, if needed. This position is located in Taft, CA.

Education:
• Successful completion of High School or equivalent.
• Successful completion of the Transportation Aide exam. (Proctored at district office, if needed.)
• Qualified to provide first aid and CPR. (May obtain qualification while employed during probationary period.)

Experience:
• Six months or more experience in providing assistance to children and working with handicapped students, preferably in a school setting.

Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice as well as a physical clearance are conditions of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
