Entry Qualifications:

- preferably a BE(Mech) or any other mechanical engg degree/diploma

 - 3 to 5 years of testing experience in the oil and gas industry or other design engineering companies, preferably in heavy machinery industries.

- Ability to read, interpret and prepare applicable technical information & suggest design/process changes to ensure simple, functional and cost effective results.

 Job Description:  

Must have ability to comprehend all engineering specifications, blueprints and all work orders, testing instructions and procedures.

Ability to read hydraulic and/or electronic schematics and to interpret Bills of Materials.

Training or coursework in electrical wiring / termination and electronics preferred.

Ability to operate and train others to operate all test/lab instruments and equipment

Typically has three to six years related experience in a similar environment.

Works under limited supervision on varied & moderately complex tasks. 

May adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs.

No Supervisory responsibility, but usually assists in orienting, training, assigning and checking work of less experienced employees.
