At America’s Thrift Stores, this isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to lead, grow, and make a real impact in your community every single day.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love developing people, and want to be part of something meaningful, keep reading!

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day looks different—and that’s exactly the point.  You’ll step into a high-impact leadership role where you:

  • Lead and inspire teams to bring energy, accountability, and purpose to the floor
  • Partner with other leadership to drive sales, donations, and operational success
  • Create an environment where people grow—personally and professionally
  • Own the day-to-day execution of store operations, from merchandising to performance management
  • Use data and reporting to make smart decisions that improve results
  • Build strong relationships with customers, donors, and the local community

This role blends people leadership, business strategy, and hands-on execution, all in one.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • You’re not stuck in one place—this role is designed to develop future leaders
  • You’ll gain exposure to multiple stores, teams, and challenges
  • You’ll play a direct role in supporting charitable missions and community programs
  • You’ll build skills that translate into long-term career growth

What Success Looks Like

  • Your team is engaged, developed, and delivering results
  • The store runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably
  • Customers and donors have an outstanding experience
  • You’re seen as a leader others trust, respect, and want to follow

What You Bring

  • Strong leadership instincts—you know how to motivate and develop people
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing attention to detail
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for service
  • Confidence in making decisions and solving problems on the fly
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

What to Expect

  • A fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Hands-on leadership—this is not a desk job
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Extensive training (up to 16 weeks) that may require travel
  • Openness to relocation within the Southeast as you grow

The Essentials

  • Leadership experience managing teams of 15+
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass background, MVR, and drug screening

The Impact

What you do here matters. Every sale, every donation, every team member you develop, it all contributes to something bigger.  You’re not just running a store.  You’re helping change lives.
