Job Description


Your service is valuable and your assistance in our department is important to us. With your help, we will upgrade, repair and manage technology equipment throughout the district.


 


Objectives of a Seasonal Technician
Technician will:



  • Become familiar with various elements of technology support including troubleshooting, new

  • installs, repairs and technology maintenance.

  • Be flexible in their time and work to complete a variety of district technology projects.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions of devices including laptops, desktops, Chromebooks

  • and other technology devices.

  • Complete preventive and annual maintenance procedures for district technology devices.


Responsibilities of Seasonal Technician
Technician will:



  • Have regular attendance and be punctual.

  • Be cooperative with other members of the seasonal team and department.

  • Follow the lead of the supervising technician.

  • Be productive and show initiative in completing daily assignment(s).

  • Receive and apply constructive feedback/suggestions.

  • Be a self-starter and a problem solver.

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills through speech, emails and texts as the situation requires.

  • Work independently while keeping focus on a given task.

  • Be flexible in your approach throughout the day. Things come up!

  • Limited to no personal cell phone use.

While this is a seasonal position, it is expected that you will treat this as your full time job following the responsibilities outlined above. We value your time and service provided to the district and will have a lot to keep you busy. We also are expecting a strong work ethic from you in return.

Additionally, you will be entrusted with department passwords. These are not to be used beyond your required work, nor are you to share them with anyone.
