JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Construction Education department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Construction Education Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom/lab experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance.

Teach a variety of classes in the Construction Education Technology program at the Construction Education Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

8 years full-time related occupational experience or approved Journey worker status.
OR
4 years full-time related occupational experience and an Associate’s degree in career field.
OR
2 years full-time related occupational experience and a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline.

Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)


May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
Hiring process includes passing a background check.
