Position Summary:

As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces and applying base and clear coats using waterborne or solvent-based paint systems. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring every refinished vehicle meets CollisionRight�s highest standards of quality and finish.

What You�ll Do:

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces (metal, plastic, etc.) for refinishing by cleaning, sanding, and masking.

  • Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using professional spray equipment.

  • Mix and match paints for accuracy and consistency.

  • Buff, sand, and inspect completed paint work for a flawless finish.

  • Maintain and clean all paint tools and equipment.

  • Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

  • Work alongside technicians and other team members to meet production deadlines.

What You Bring:

  • 1�3 years of experience in automotive painting or collision repair.

  • Strong knowledge of surface prep, paint application, and mixing techniques.

  • Proficiency with spray guns and painting tools.

  • Keen eye for detail and excellent color perception.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and occasionally over 70 lbs.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.

  • Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
