Position Description:

As the Regional F&I Manager, you will be responsible for all financing and service contract sales supporting the sales departments in your assigned Regions.

 

HLAs – High Leverage Activities (focused actions that will return the highest impact):

  1. Maximize gross margin on the sale of financing, service contracts, and insurance where applicable in your assigned sales departments.
  2. Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources.
  3. Build great rapport with the new and used truck sales team to maximize deal turnover.
  4. Process finance and lease deals accurately, fairly, and in accordance with local, state, and federal statutes and company policies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage prospective customers and provide help or direction to a customer that can benefit from our services.
  • Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
  • Create and maintain a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of medium-duty, heavy-duty, and severe service trucks.
  • Overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
  • Seek new lending institutions and maintain good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
  • Issue license plates and manage license plate logs.
  • Title work
  • Actively use a Customer Management System (CRM)
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Prior title work and notary experience, preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Positive attitude and ability to build new relationships.
  • Highly motivated, confident, able to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
