Position Description:
As the Regional F&I Manager, you will be responsible for all financing and service contract sales supporting the sales departments in your assigned Regions.
HLAs – High Leverage Activities (focused actions that will return the highest impact):
- Maximize gross margin on the sale of financing, service contracts, and insurance where applicable in your assigned sales departments.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources.
- Build great rapport with the new and used truck sales team to maximize deal turnover.
- Process finance and lease deals accurately, fairly, and in accordance with local, state, and federal statutes and company policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage prospective customers and provide help or direction to a customer that can benefit from our services.
- Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
- Create and maintain a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
- Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of medium-duty, heavy-duty, and severe service trucks.
- Overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards.
- Seek new lending institutions and maintain good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Issue license plates and manage license plate logs.
- Title work
- Actively use a Customer Management System (CRM)
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Prior title work and notary experience, preferred.
- Strong computer skills with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Positive attitude and ability to build new relationships.
- Highly motivated, confident, able to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
