In this role, you will perform various clerical functions to support operations processes for the office. As Clerical staff, your responsibilities will include:
- Calling and screening referrals
- Checking voice mail and returning calls to prospective clients and families
- Sending out literature to prospected clients
- Entering referral-based demographics in system
- Checking for insurance eligibility
- Completing and updating spreadsheets for census and state purposes
- Provide additional support as needed including participation in center on call requirements.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Training and certifications as required by Hospice.
