Working Model: Office 5x a week, Full time- permanent contract

At International SOS, we are looking for a dedicated TRICARE Health Benefits Advisor to become the trusted, in-person support for the NSA Stirling community.

Key responsibilities
You will be the first point of contact for TRICARE beneficiaries, providing:
Education & Customer Support
Help families understand their TRICARE benefits, eligibility, and coverage options
Guide beneficiaries on how to access care in Australia
Support walk-ins, emails, and phone enquiries with clarity and empathy
Non-Clinical Care Coordination
Assist with finding specialists, mental health providers, maternity care, and more
Explain referral pathways and next steps after medical recommendations
Support beneficiaries in navigating cultural and procedural differences in Australian care
Claims & Referral Guidance
Provide status updates on claims and referrals
Help resolve basic claims issues and ensure documentation is correct
Direct complex cases to the TRICARE Overseas Program contractor
Community Briefings
- Lead or support briefings for newcomers, families, maternity groups, transitioning personnel, and more.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate records
Protect confidential information
Follow HIPAA, DHA, TRICARE, and Australian privacy requirements
About you
Essential
Strong customer service background
A true team player with great communication skills
Problem-solver who takes initiative and stays calm under pressure
Confident with Microsoft Office
Other Requirements
Host nation driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
Ability to obtain required security clearance
Occasional travel within Australia or internationally
