Position Purpose:

| Works under the direction of the director, assistant director, and supervisor to perform a variety of activities related to the transportation of patients, specimens, and equipment to and from the Imaging Services department. |
Key Responsibilities
· Ability to safely lift and physically manipulate patients. · Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. · Ability to focus and demonstrate visual and auditory acuity for watching monitors and following instructions during procedures. · Operate assigned equipment and perform all procedures in a safe manner while delivering high quality service to patients and customers. · Maintains the area, equipment and supplies. Removes outdated supplies and returns to materials management. · Performs daily cleaning of all patient transport equipment. · Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrates regular attendance and participation at scheduled department and team meetings. · Comply with all Federal, State, organizational, and departmental policies and procedures. |
Qualifications
Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (if hired will need to provide diploma or official transcripts) Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association |
Preferences
· Ability to manage and utilize technological resources (computers, phone, tablets, etc.) · CNA/LNA experience · Phlebotomy experience · EMT Experience |
