Job Description – Techno-Functional Manager for Data & AI Delivery

Role Summary

We are looking for a Techno-Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Data, Analytics, and AI initiatives. The role requires strong project management capabilities combined with a solid understanding of data platforms, AI/ML solutions, and business processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, AI/ML teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery of projects from initiation to production rollout.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Data & AI projects including planning, execution, monitoring, deployment, and post-production support.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, AI/ML, BI, Product, Architecture, and Business stakeholders.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical execution plans.
• Drive Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, tracking, backlog management, and status reporting.
• Track project timelines, dependencies, risks, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee delivery of initiatives related to:

- Data platforms and pipelines

- BI and reporting solutions

- AI/ML and Generative AI use cases

- Automation and analytics programs

• Ensure adherence to governance, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Facilitate UAT, stakeholder sign-offs, and business adoption activities.
• Prepare executive-level project updates, dashboards, and governance reports.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technology project/program management with exposure to Data & AI initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Data, Analytics, Cloud, and AI/ML ecosystems.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional technology programs.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

• Cloud Platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP
• Data Platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, Hadoop
• BI Tools: Power BI, Tableau
• AI/ML and Generative AI lifecycle understanding
• APIs, integrations, and data governance concepts

Preferred Certifications

• PMP
• Scrum Master / SAFe Agile
• Cloud or Data-related certifications
