Centex Materials is seeking a highly motivated and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Austin team. This role will focus on cultivating new leads, managing small-to-midsized business accounts, and maintaining accurate data in our CRM system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced/challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and qualify new customer opportunities through research, inbound inquiries, and outbound outreach.
- Build a pipeline of small-to-mid-sized business accounts in the Austin region.

Account Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for smaller business accounts.
- Handle order inquiries, pricing requests, and follow-ups to ensure excellent customer service.
- Support full project selling for all product lines.

Sales Support & Data Management:
- Enter and maintain accurate customer & prospect profiles in Centex Database.
  - Project Information entry
- Prepare quotes, sales reports, and market analysis as needed.
- Collaborate with outside sales and operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work through AR & Collection processes
  - File appropriate bond and/or lien documents.

Requirements:

1-3 years of inside sales, account management, or customer service experience (construction materials or industrial sales preferred).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word
Experience with Command Alkon Platform (preferred)
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Demonstrates the ability to work well with others in a high stress environment
Knowledge of concrete, aggregates, or construction industry is preferred, but not required.

Preferred Skills:

Associate’s degree or higher
Bilingual

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000/ yearly
