Technical Content Specialist - EMEA (f/m/d)

What to expect:

The Technical Content Specialist is responsible for creating and managing content designed to inform and inspire our audience. The role involves working with leading suppliers, the latest products, and advanced technology topics to create articles, blogs, and a variety of other material for use on the mouser website, in campaigns, and with media partners.

• Responsible for project coordination & content creation/review on products, applications and technology sites and marketing materials.
• Supports Manager Technical Marketing with development of results-oriented marketing strategies and programs.
• Responsible for native English written content on direct customer communication, both electronic and print.
• Supports initial drafts, editing and approval for product specific advertisements and press releases.
• Supports Mouser trade shows and supplier events, conferences, seminars.
• Works with Internet Business to improve SEO by improving technical content and the use of keywords, based on product and technologies.
• Supports and participates in company total quality process, establishes and maintains effective relationships with business associates, represents the company in a professional manner and maintains confidentiality.

 

What we are looking for:

• Degree or good working knowledge in Electronics as well as first experience in technical writing in a technology industry.
• Creative writing, proofreading and editing skills, and experience with writing copy, articles or blogs.
• Ability to manage relationships with technical content agency and pool of freelance writers.
• Experience working within a multi-channel marketing function, ideally including campaign coordination.
• Native written and verbal English skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others.
• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
• Professionalism to interface directly with business contacts and represent the company.
• PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other software.
