Position Overview:

The Digital Hub India Team at KGS seeks dynamic individual to work in the KGS digital ecosystem within the Digital organization. The Data, Integrations & AI Architect is accountable for establishing a scalable architecture function to support enterprise-wide transformation, including a growing portfolio of AI-driven initiatives. This role defines to shape solution direction, govern architecture decisions, and establish guardrails for AI and enterprise systems in collaboration with Digital functional leaders, Business Relationship Managers, Enterprise Systems teams that include ERP and Non ERP. Maintains expertise in the direction of the business functions in partnership with business engagement, to identify challenges and associated plans to advance business capabilities.  Effective partnership and teamwork with business partners, their IT teams and all other KGS Digital teams is a key success factor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain industry leading architecture for complex enterprise and AI initiatives translating ambiguous business problems into clear architectural options and trade-offs driving alignment across stakeholders on solution direction and constraints
• Experience in utilizing EA Tools like LeanIX, Sparx, Orbus, Ardoq or any other similar platform/tools to enable and guide the design that meet current and future needs

• Platform Governance Integration - Implement access controls, data protection rules, Integrate governance metadata, governance platforms, enforcement of data access controls, privacy classifications, and data retention policies within data platforms.
• Provides technical direction and design authority across enterprise applications supporting trusted and AI-ready data products, that ensure governance is defined, supported by technology, and enforced across the enterprise data and AI platform
• Integration & Automation - Understanding of integration patterns including APIs, service architectures, and event driven systems. Proficiency in Python for integration and automation engineering
•  Cloud Data Platform Architecture - Strong working knowledge of AWS data services, Databricks with experience implementing governance enforcement using platform native controls
•  Architecture & Delivery Leadership - Architecture design experience defining and implementing high level integration patterns (e.g., Hub and Spoke, PeertoPeer, Data Federation)
•  AI Architecture & Risk Governance - Lead evaluation of AI/LLM-based solutions across the organization enforcing enterprise guardrails for AI adoption and assess risks related to Data exposure, Prompt injection and model behavior, External dependencies and token/security models

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing system architecture with expertise in ERP systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting analytics and AI workloads in cloud data platforms 
• Strong knowledge of API design patterns (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and API management platforms (AWS API Gateway, Apigee, MuleSoft, or equivalent)
• Experience with event driven architecture and message streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, Amazon MSK, EventBridge, SQS/SNS)
• Experience designing integration solutions for AI/ML platforms or agentic architectures, including LLM API patterns and MCP based agent tooling
• Familiarity with emerging AI and agent integration patterns
• Working knowledge of AI assisted software development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, or equivalent)
• Deep understanding of enterprise data models, master data governance, systems integration principles and technologies in manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects
• Strong business acumen of Salesforce technologies, ERP, Supply chain, Finance & Treasury, ERP systems and processes, such as EBS Oracle, JDE, EFACS, SAGE, IFS to mention a few.
• Ability to communicate, influence and persuade — both business and IT leaders, stakeholders, and peers.
