Coast has an opportunity for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our team of construction professionals based in Lancaster, CA.
Key responsibilities include
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Install wood and metal frames, including roof trusses
- Perform concrete forming and finishing
- Build, install, and repair cabinets, doors, flooring, frameworks, and trim
- Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand and power tools
- Assemble and install structural components accurately
- Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company policies
- Load/unload materials and maintain tools and equipment
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
- Participate in weekly safety meetings
Qualifications
- Proven carpentry experience at the journeyman level
- Ability to work independently after direction is provided
- Strong understanding of plans, layouts, and task execution
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and confined spaces
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Must have reliable transportation
