Coast has an opportunity for an experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our team of construction professionals based in Lancaster, CA.

Key responsibilities include 

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Install wood and metal frames, including roof trusses
• Perform concrete forming and finishing
• Build, install, and repair cabinets, doors, flooring, frameworks, and trim
• Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand and power tools
• Assemble and install structural components accurately
• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company policies
• Load/unload materials and maintain tools and equipment
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Participate in weekly safety meetings 

Qualifications

• Proven carpentry experience at the journeyman level
• Ability to work independently after direction is provided
• Strong understanding of plans, layouts, and task execution
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and confined spaces
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Must have reliable transportation
