Description

Reporting to the Lead Technical Support Engineer, you will commence your Engineering career within our Technical Support Team. 

You will be engaged with our customers and dealers to support our products that are sold worldwide. You will receive training across our product range and on our systems.

Work life will be varied, including having both a desk based and hands on role in our factories and field locations, with opportunity to travel internationally when needed.

You will work alongside our experienced engineers, providing input and developing your own skillset in engineering, troubleshooting and customer engaging skills.

 

About the Role

Key duties and responsibilities: 

·            Provide technical product support to dealers and customers globally. 

·            Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve problems and breakdowns remotely. 

·            Support our Astec Technical Assistance Centre’s (ATAC) around the world. 

·            Work closely with other departments to develop and document procedures and solutions.

·            Engage with our New Product Development team to help support delivery of robust and reliable machinery for our customers. 

·            Support Quality Improvement Team (QIT) efforts to rapidly identify root causes and resolve manufacturing, assembly, and design related issues. 

·            Develop technical content and administer technical training to customers and dealers as required. 

·            Support all Health and Safety Policies and Regulations, always ensuring safe working practices.
