The Operational Director of School Operations is a key support role within Sask DLC, working directly with the Superintendents of School Operations to implement, and coordinate, organizational operations across the province. This position is responsible for bringing operational plans and leadership decisions to life through effective execution, technical expertise, systems management, and continuous improvement.

The Director of School Operations serves as a bridge between strategic direction and day-to-day practice by translating Leadership Council decisions into workable processes within core systems such as DLCgo (Genius), Moodle, My School Sask (MSS), and other operational platforms. While this role does not carry direct supervisory authority, it requires strong leadership through influence, relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational expertise.

This position is ideal for an individual with strong operational instincts, technical proficiency, and the ability to move complex initiatives from concept to implementation.

  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to operational documents, resources, templates, and internal systems.
  • Coordinate student levelling processes, communication emails, and system transitions.

Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze student and organizational data to identify trends, barriers, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Propose practical solutions that improve student success, efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Designing specifications for tools and dashboards that help Campus Administrators monitor student progress, teacher levelling, and five-day marking expectations.
  • Provide recommendations for workflow enhancements and system efficiencies.

Staff Operations and Organizational Support

  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and operational planning.
  • Monitor staff Pupil-Teacher Ratio (PTR) processes and operational tracking.
