Education and training equivalent to high school graduation. Work experience demonstrating dependability and responsibility. Desired experience performing custodial work, maintenance work and driving heavy vehicles. Possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License. Complete training for and maintain a California School Bus Drivers certificate. Obtain and keep current a First Aid Certificate issued by the American Red Cross or equivalent certification by the California Highway Patrol. Testing for possible use of controlled substances.

2025-2026 Classified Salary Schedule Range IV $21.10-$29.69 per hour DOE

Full-time positions of 8 hours/day 5 days/week 12 month 260 days at Lee Vining schools and Bridgeport Elementary. Keeps school buildings and grounds clean, orderly and free from hazards, Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks necessary to maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds and drives a school bus for the purpose of transporting students in a safe, orderly manner to and from school and on special trips.
