Job Description

Position Department: Athletics Game Day Staff



Position School: Administration: No School



Overview:

RMU Athletics is looking for outgoing and qualified candidates who will be responsible for assisting in game day operations in the sports of volleyball, soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Employee will work with the game management official to be positioned correctly and serve as a ball person for the sport.



Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities include: Assist the game officials and participants with the game balls while ensuring the game moves smoothly. Work with the other ball persons in order to ensure smooth operational efficiency, whether it be rolling the balls, tossing overhead, handing to official, etc. Attendance on game days prior to re scheduled game start time ads determined by game management official. Attendance may be required up to an hour prior to scheduled start time. Candidates should be prepared to work in all different types of weather conditions and be comfortable with physical movement, walking, jogging, tossing, throwing, sitting, standing, etc throughout the contest. Other assignments designated by game management official
